Missleading and rude

I purchased a chip from g-force and the instruction that came with the product are not for my application. Will not work on my 1997 jeep wrangler, I phoned the customer assistance line and was spoke to very rudely and the representative for the company, John hung up on me. He would not talk to me at all. Stated he was a hour behind (his workload) and did nothing at all for helping me. This is the worst company I have ever delt with and feel the company is ripping people off. Nothing good to say about g-force. RECOMMEND NOT DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

RUDE AT G FORCE

After trying to install, phone from my cell, spoke to Clay took 3 trys to get the correct wiring diagram for VW. Still nothing like my car. So I took it to a pro dyno performs shop, who told me why would I want to install this garbage. If they were to install it where Gforce is stating it would have to have more than 2 wires & yes it would not give more power or save gas......so we called back to get the the RMA, Robert told my husband that he is totally uneducated & hung up on him, I called & he hung up on me told me Canadians can't call & to read the website, doesn't say anything like that in return policy..does anyone know who owns this piece of *** so called company??

Why not put the address in these responses to these people? Sure, it's their fault they don't read the small; print about the restocking fee, but don't you think an address should be in the small print too?

Are these things made in china? Are they real chips or simply a resistor set to essentially fool the computer into thinking it is getting different readings as opposed to truly using a chip to change the performance levels of the engine as as true chip would do?

GForce Performance Chip Co.---no return policy

Please be wary of this company because I went to their website and reviewed their product. Right on the front page is says it has a no question, 100% cash return policy which made me feel good about trying their product. As it turns out, I changed my mine after reading the installation instructions and talking with my son. I purchased the GForce chip in mid November and contacted them today stating that I wanted to return their item unused and receive full payment. They told me that I should have read in their terms section that their guarantee is only for 14 days after you receive the item....not after you install the item. I feel that this is very deceptive and apparently there are a number of dis-satisfied customers.....Please be wary of this company....I have no idea if the product works, but the service dept. doesn't care!! steve

I returned it to gforce and the refund was $ 18.24 short and the company said i am lucky i got anything from them. I think this product is nothing but a rip off and don't think it even works. This company has a great way to make money and don't have to have a produc't even think about that they have to prove any thing. Do't work.n't even think about getting this chip it don

Gforce Performance Chip is a rip off !!!!!!

I purchased the so called chip..which is nothing more than a resistor....that sends fake info to computer in vehicle....this can cause damage to your motor and even computer.....I never installed it on my car a 2004 C5 Corvette.....paid $79.00 with shipping fees.....recieved $51.75....Back.... not counting paying for shipping fees back...so I still lost $20.00....think of how many people this happens too........Gforce does not make all of the different "chips".....someone should buy one and take it apart and post it on ytube.............BUYERS BEWARE !!!!!!! THIS IS A SCAM !!!!! ALSO THE FULL REFUND !!!!!!!!! TELL EVERYONE !!!!! GFORCE PERFORMANCE CHIP IS A SCAM/RIP OFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!

A simple K&N cold air intake added 20HP to my already 395HP HEMI and added 5MPG city and did not affect my extended drive train warranty. Why would I be dumb enough to buy a "chip" that says it gives the same performance and improved gas mileage for every engine?

Every engine is different and would in theory react differently, especially as engine computers are updated and changed every year. Wake up people.

Galileo Rjc

Yes, our modules consist of a series of resistors, tuned to a specific value, that manipulates your IAT sensor with our pre-set setting. You are correct about that.

Considering it a scam, is incorrect. Our modules have been tested and reviewed by professional third parties.

Yes, they work, and we have all data and facts to back that up.

Contact us directly, and refer to this post. We will make an exception and refund the restocking fee that is in question.

Mrs

I to bought a GForce Clip based on their advertisement.... however once we got it - I also checked further on websites and discovered this one - so naturally I was skeptical about installing it on 2007 Corvette. So I called them to get a RMA number and told them our concerns after reading what others had said. They were very RUDE and condescending!!!! However they did comply and give me a number. I sent it back that day along with a tracking number.... They said it would be 14 days to refund a credit.... and today found they had only credited $51.75... instead of the $69... But when I called and spoke with "JOHN" he said because we had not installed it and given it a chance they ALSO CHARGE A 25% restocking fee.... The are the most RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL company that I have dealt with in a long time --- and at 70+ -and owning our own business, we've had our share of nasty people - but this company has them all beat.... so please BEWARE.

GFORCE CHIPS RIPPED ME OFF...NOTHIN BUT LIES, RUDENESS, AND SO NONPROFESSIONAL

its all bs..i dnt think their company even doesnt even exist..look it up in google maps like i did go to (contact us) on their site to get the address; WONT FIND IT..they say each chip is TUNED to your specific car but when you get the product you have to drive 100 miles for the chip to "learn your car" as its stated in the instructions..bs..speaking of that..one guy( Harold Peterson, Georgetown, KY)in their testimonials said "got the chip installed in less than 30 minutes. Eagerly I fired up my car and took my car out for a test drive. I could feel a difference right away"..what happened to the 100 miles to learn your car huh..the testimonials are most likely their employees making up fake storys and customers..and the fact that they have almost every car in the world to choose from in their list is such bs.. Bugatti, Enzo Ferrari,do you think these cars would ever need something so inferior to their ECU..or why would the owners($$$) purchase something like that..i doubt this chip is even compatible with these cars or with a 1970 chevy monte carlo..

To B. Rock: Am a Ram 1500 HEMI owner.

Spent the money and installed K&N cold air intake. 20HP increase over factory 395. 5-8 mpg increase in city (I am a little heavy footed, could be better for others). Does not affect warranty.

Further, if you truly want to tweak your ECU, take you vehicle to a performance shop. They can hook it up to a computer and set the ECU to more specific settings. The manufacturer sets all of them the same.

I did this, cost a little under $100, took 15 minutes, and I got power baby. Plus my 5.7 drinks gas from a smaller straw.

Guest

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. I PUT IT IN MY RAM 1500 AND NOW THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AND WON'T PASS EMISSIONS.

ADDITIONALLY MY MILEAGE WENT DOWN 2 MILES PER GALLON.

IF YOUR LUCKY THE DEALER CAN RE FLASH YOUR FACTORY ECU BUT THAT IS ANOTHER 90 BUCKS. STAY AWAY.

Guest

I know...i read the testimonials..omg...the first guy talks about how hes so happy with the product that he referred it to all his friends and family..o yea of course because all his friends and family want to gain 60 hp in their cars..i would understand the gas saving part but only if it actually did that or anything the company claims...another guy says " Thanks GForce, I owe to you. As a single dad with 2 kids, gas prices were on the rise

, and I saved significant amounts of money.

One chip is less money than the price of one gas refuel. Do the math. Buy the chip.

It's a

brainless decision." so is this guy talking to the company or trying to sell the chip..all these testimonial are ridiculous..6mgp gain that would make my 6L V8 getting around 17mpg run like a V6 wouldnt it? that be 23mpg..wow..and of course refer it to all my friends and family..jaja..id rather buy me a K&N intake...something from a real company

Guest

they do have those cars as an option for the chip...GF chip on a 1970 monte carlo...i doubt thats possible, they just want their chip to be available for every single car no matter what year so that they increase their odds of customers finding their specific vehicle on that list and buying the product...people who dont know much about cars will fall for it and be happy to know that they can get 60hp for $69..id rather pay 250 for the real deal than $69 for something u can make ur self for less than a dollar..and that chip is supposedly worth $399 and they're selling it for $69...yeah right

G force performance chips

I purchased one of their products for my auto. After a week or so I noticed no difference but the car running rough and shifting rough. I called to get a rma to return the product and the people on the phone were as rude and abusive as you could get !!!! Once they say what they have to they hang up the phone. Everything to return this is done by email only. Terrible customer service and the product does not work...Do not purchase from this company. I have never been treated from a company like these people do, seems like a one man operation!!!

Gforce chips

Stay away from this company. They took over 5 months to ship. Customer service is terrible. It appears to be a 1 man show that is pretending to be a large company. He is the guy that answers the phone and responds to emails. Terrible company. Next step is to report him to better business bureau. Also worth posting on various boards to try and shut this guy down. Stay away stay away stay away stay away stay away stay away stay away stay away stay away stay away stay away stay away stay away stay away stay away stay away. That clear enough?

Gforce performace chip company

I ordered a Gforce performance chip for my 1999 Isuzu Amigo 3.2L V 6, then decided not to install it due to many complaints Ive read. After several e-mails to Terry the sales manager I was told to send it back using my order number as the return number. I never opened the package, and sent it back. They had it within 7 days. Then after about 10 more days they finally did refund my CC. But the sting is out of $74.95 I paid , I only got $51.00 back on my card and i paid the shipping back. So let me get this straight, if you install it and use it and dont want it due to poor performance you can get a full refund less the shipping of $5.95, if you can some how get it back to them within 14 days. But if you dont use it, dont open it and get it back within a week Gforce bangs the customer a full 25% less the shipping also. Im sorry I own a small motorcycle parts company and this is a rip off and i think the way they make allot of their money on this bogus product. They have the brand new un-opened part back and $17.00 of my purchase. Stay away from this company !

Every time i see and add about this GF chip; i see different hp gains. The first one was 60hp, the other 111hp, now i see an ad by google on this site for 88hp...talk about a bunch of balogni...the site is gfchips.com. They say gfchips as if they have multiple models..ive only ever seen one kind of model on their site and on youtube...everything they say is a lie, they just want to look like a legit company with everything they have on their site..that doesnt make their statements true..

GForce Performance Chips- Hype, Rude, Untimely, Unprofessional

I have never dealt with a company that was as unprofessional, rude and downright abusive to it's customers, as they were to me. The initial problem arose when after 2 weeks I had not received the performance chip that was ordered for my car. there website promotes in several prominent places,..Same Day Shipping. Ordinarily, with companies, that means they ship the product they same day the order was placed. Not So with this company. After waiting 2 weeks the 1st phone call ended with a gentleman in customer service, telling me it shipped out 2 days ago and hanging up the phone abruptly, no explanation, no thanks for calling, no offer of a tracking number. I wasn't even given the opportunity to ask his name, or why it had taken so long to be shipped. Feeling like a total inconvenience for even calling, my 2nd encounter was a result of immediately emailing their customer service dept to make them aware of this rude and unprofessional customer service agent, only to receive the excuse that they were wholesalers and that I was purchasing a $399 chip for $70...so the implication was that for a discounted product,..unprofessionalism and rudeness was OK. In a subsequent email, I asked for some names of retailers that sold their chips for $399,...that question remains unanswered. After another week goes by, still no chip, I call back to inquire. The saqme rude gentleman answers the phone, interrupting my every word. This time I'm informed that it was just shipped out. I was barely able to get in my question about "Same Day Shipping", only to be informed that if I had read the "Terms and Conditions",...same day shipping meant they shipped the same day the chip is fabricated..which obviously has nothing to do with when the order was placed. Well, fast forward 3-1/2 weeks, the car has since been sold ...I o longer need this specific chip,,,and can only imagine what an ordeal it is going to be to return their product under their "No Questions Asked, Unconditional Satisfaction Policy". That is, if I ever receive it to begin with. My conclusion is, their website, the $399 retail price, their customer service policy and last, but not least, their "Same Day Shipping Policy is nothing but "FLUFF" & "EYE CANDY"

JUST FYI, there ARE chips with computer programs that cost $300-500 that actually DO re-program your ICU to run better ands have sport and fuel savings modes you can change from inside the cab. You do not need to rebuild the engine as one commenter said.

You can also go to a speed shop to have them tweak your settings a bit for about $100-200. But yes these chips are a ripoff. Always read the fine print.

so many here did not read about the restocking fee then complain about it.

If a company is not putting their address or real technical info in their ad? Gee, maybe its too good to be true.

Guest

I fitted mine, what is the procedure to send it back? address? and lets keep that lawsuit goin.

Guest

Ok.. I have bought one for my HHR.

After reading the comments do I put it on? No I don't think so.

Has anyone returned it and got their money back?

jw

Guest

Agreed on all comments class acting law suit im down?!!!!!!! was hung up on to already contacted better business beuro

Guest

Sure, I would be interested in a class-action lawsuit. Just to shut them down. What would be involved?

Guest

Is anyone interested in a class action lawsuit against Gforce chips if I can find an attorney in Orange County who would be interested in taking it? I'm serious I want to stop these guys (or guy) from ripping off any more people.

Everywhere I on the Internet everyone's been screwed by Gforce surely it can't be leagel to do what they're doing. I'll be checking back

Guest

Total Rip-off they got me too but I'm gonna try FBI Internet crimes div and Orange county Sheriff to see if they know about it. Their Disclaimer says....Our claims of gains of fuel economy and power and performance found throughout this website is based on direct customer feedback and not actual tests.

The advertising found throughout is based on claims provided by customers just like yourself, who purchased our product and reported back the gains.

Actual results may vary, and are covered by a 100% money-back guarantee! Can you believe that ***

Guest

sounded great for my 2008 nitro until i read reviews, thanks for changing my mind.

Guest

Looking for more horse power and better gas, don't waist your money on cheap chips. Work on getting exhaust and intake, your car will breath and respond a lot better, then rims, helpss add the grip, then loose some car weight ditch the subs and back seat, spare tire ect, gain more power, its not hard to make ur car faster without breaKing your wallet.

If your really broke like me this is the best advise I can give you, buy a 5 dallor performance sticker such as aem or hks and throw that on your windshield, bam just added fifteen horses! The chips are no goes your better off with my last advise!

Btw exhaust you can get at the right place for aroud 2 to 3 bills, cheaper if u know what ur doing. I wouldn't buy from any middle man sites though like andysauto or other simular online sites.

Guest

I was about ready to purchase one of these chips when I found your review Baad Boy. You saved me a lot of aggravation.

Who ever said "fluff and "eye candy was very polite. I think BULL *** would be more appropriate.

Regards
